Today’s energy asks us to have compassion for our haters and keep up the good work. We have fought an incredible battle and the reward is the wisdom, confidence and good fortune that is emerging from within. It is no longer a matter of whether or not our hard work will pay off, only when. However we still find it hard to chill tf out and trust; we still wonder what more we could be doing. We’re still all up in our feelings, hosting spirit wall slide parties and throwing soul tantrums. No use pretending we’re more evolved than we are, it is what it is. And then if our own internal soundtrack wasn’t bleak enough, we got haters! Judgy McJudgersons who naysay our choices, silently, passive aggressively, spiritually- folks who don’t say a word yet loudly eyeroll their feelings in our direction.
Spirit is asking you to sip from your cup with your pinky up deadass in their faces. Sip from your cup of sorrow, failure and bad decisions, your cup of experience, resilience and transformation. Show them you wouldn’t take nothing for your journey. Show them how every dead end was really a portal, how your faith has brought you through. Have compassion on these poor souls whose hearts are too weak to do anything except hate on your glorious courage. The fire purified you and made you fearless because you learned you could not die, so now you KNOW your strength and your power precisely BECAUSE of the flames. You might have some haters judging from the sidelines, and you might even be worried they’re right. (They aren't.) Don't doubt your magic, ever. You have risen like a phoenix from the ashes again and again, and here you sit firmly on your square. Of course they’re wearing the stank face, of course they're smiles are wobbly, of course they can't fix their mouths to say congratulations. Its cool though, because at the end of the day they get to be them, and you get to be YOU. Instead of being mad they mad, just show them how its done. Have compassion for them. Luxuriate lovingly in your light and shine on em. Hopefully they’ll learn something.
Remember what Mama Maya said:
“Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries?
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
’Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin’ in my own backyard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I’ll rise.”
