Today's cards reiterate what you already know: The road has been weary and long, but we persevered. The cycle is nearly complete. We are almost there. The fight is nearly won. Except now we have to deal with perception. How do people see us? Does it look like we've taken shortcuts? Is our integrity in question? Are we being judged? If so, are these judgments far fetched or accurate? We are conflicted in our response too; consciously we want to love and forgive everyone, enjoy our new beginning and let the past remain in the past, but subconsciously we have about an hour's worth of clap-backs and we wish just one of these ninjas would give us the chance to recite them somewhere other than the mirror.
But all of that is just a distraction. The real issue isn't how others perceive you, the real issue is the truth. And whether you're willing to face it. And if you're faced with something you don't like, whether you're willing to change it. And if you're aren't willing or able to change it, whether you can accept it. You've got to really investigate the parameters of the person you've become. You've transformed and that might be difficult for the people who used to know you to accept. They might look at you and literally not see you, because they're focused on who you used to be. Then they want to know why you aren't "acting like yourself," when this so-called "self" is merely a projection of their expectations. You've got to be really clear about who YOU are, otherwise you'll succumb to the pressure of perception. If that happens, you'll be inauthentic as a result and all your carefully laid plans will come to nothing because it won't be YOU who's executing them.
You have a choice to make. You can either lose sleep worrying about who people SAY you are, or you can meditate deeply upon your wonderful self and luxuriate in who you ACTUALLY are. You can think yourself into a tizzy trying to figure out exactly how to make things align perfectly (which btw is the very fear based energy that squeezes us into manipulation, which in turn makes people question our integrity), or you can rest deeply and purposefully in your faith and intuition, and trust that all things are happening as they should. You can keep focused on the past and the friendships and relationships you've lost, or you can patiently and diligently work on the relationships you treasure, and cultivate the connections you want to grow.
This is the energy of DOING. There is no sitting on the sidelines now. If you aren't choosing growth and healing for yourself and your relationships- even if growth and healing looks like ending a relationship - then you are actively choosing strife, decline and stagnation. The universe has lost her patience for passive aggression. Either you will actively climb or or you will actively fall, but hanging on is no longer an option.
